Proof & Petals is a North Dakota-based floral studio specializing in intentional fresh and faux floral design for weddings, events, memorials, and life’s everyday moments. As a medically retired Air Force veteran, I built this business from a passion for creativity, resilience, and meaningful connection.
What began as a creative outlet has grown into a floral studio rooted in storytelling, artistry, and heart. Every arrangement is designed to feel personal, evoke emotion, and create lasting memories...because flowers aren’t just beautiful; they’re part of your story.

What began as a creative outlet quickly became something much more meaningful. Proof & Petals was built on the belief that flowers have the power to tell stories, preserve memories, and transform life’s most important moments. Through weddings, celebrations, memorials, and everyday beauty, my goal is to create designs that feel deeply personal and intentionally crafted.

How Proof & Petals Came to Life
What started as a quiet love for plants eventually grew into something I couldn’t ignore. I found myself constantly creating: experimenting with texture, color, movement, and the way flowers can transform a space or tell a story without words.
Proof & Petals was born from that curiosity. What began as a creative outlet grew into a floral studio where I bring meaningful moments to life through custom floral design, whether for celebrations, remembrance, or everyday beauty.
Every design I create is rooted in the same appreciation for beauty, connection, and the natural world that first drew me to plants.
Rooted in Creativity
When I’m not designing florals, you’ll usually find me outdoors, tackling some kind of creative project. I love hiking, painting, gardening, home projects, and honestly, anything that allows me to slow down and create. Being surrounded by plants and watching things grow has always felt grounding to me.
Home projects are another passion of mine, and many weekends are spent building, fixing, planting, or rearranging something around the house. Some of my favorite moments are the simplest ones: sharing iced coffee with my husband, spending time with our dogs, and finding beauty in everyday life.
Before Proof & Petals became my focus, I served in the United States Air Force and medically retired after several years of service. That experience shaped who I am and ultimately led me to pursue work that feels deeply meaningful and creative.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity in just two years and have also earned my master’s degree in business and marketing. The discipline, resilience, and curiosity I’ve gained throughout my life continue to influence the way I approach both my art and my business.
Above all, I’m grateful to create work that helps people celebrate, remember, honor, and connect. Proof & Petals is more than a business to me. It’s the place where creativity, resilience, and purpose finally came together.

Because I know how important these moments are, I approach every design and every event with the same level of care, preparation, and reliability that I would want if it were my own.
